FORECAST:
Good morning! Yesterday was dry and hot -- today looks to be fairly similar. The only difference will be slightly more humidity. Skies will be mostly sunny. We will watch for a few storms that develop over the mountains of Mexico. They move into Texas later this evening, affecting mainly those along the Rio Grande.
By Thursday morning, an influx of moisture will give us added clouds and a chance for showers and drizzle. This means the early morning commute could be damp. Shower activity will pick up a bit mid-morning through midday. By the early afternoon, a few storms may try to develop. These will quickly move north, with a break in the action by the late afternoon.
Storm activity will become more isolated Thursday night into Friday morning, but a chance of rain remains possible as a boundary moves closer to the area.
By Friday evening, rain chances come to an end and skies will clear. The weekend will be mostly sunny and HOT. Upper-90s are forecast and some spots may approach 100.
Have a great day!
